Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress agreed to serve a two year prison sentence for shooting himself in the leg in a Manhattan nightclub. Seriously!Anyway, Burress was facing up to 3 1/2 years after pleading guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, so I guess he got off relatively easy. He'll probably spend a year behind bars before escaping...I mean being released.... to try and reincarnate some form of career.
